Types of welding machines
Humans invented the first gas welding torch to melt the metal locally with the focused heat. These torches made way for electric arc-welding, that gave even more intense heat. The TIG welder is one of the most versatile welding machines that can identify the heat even more, allowing minors, precision welds. Another popular type of welding used today is the MIG welder.
arc welding
Industries use arc welding or welding rod in a range of applications including construction and repair work. This type uses a welding power source with direct current or to create an electric arc between an electrode and the base material to melt metals in alternating melting point. Is covered with flow to protect the weld area from oxidation and contamination. There are two types of Arc Welders that include air or oil cooled AC or DC welders welders who use a air cooling system. Arc welding is limited to welding ferrous metals.
MIG welding
MIG or metal inert gas welding is a semi-automatic or automatic process of arc welding which is also known as gas metal arc welding (GMAW). The process has a continuous and consumable wire electrode and shielding gas, powered by a MIG torch or the fusion gun CO2. A direct current power source is usually used with a MIG welder, Although the alternating current is the second choice. One of the benefits of these welding machines is that the voltage, and the speed is adjustable. These machines also feature a range of voltage and check valve to control the flow of gas. A MIG welder used without shielding gas in a process known as flux core arc welding. In this process the welding wire has a nucleus with full flow and has a bow hotter able metal parts welding thicker. A MIG welder used to weld copper, zinc, brass, steel, Tin and aluminum. These machines are versatile and easy to learn, and is the ideal choice if you want to work in a variety of metals by purchasing just a welder.
TIG Welding
TIG welding or tungsten inert gas welding is a process that involves a non-consumable tungsten electrode, that provides current to the welding arc. Argon gas is commonly used as a shielding gas to protect the weld area from contamination. A TIG welder is typically used for welding thin aluminum sections, of magnesium, copper alloy and stainless steel. One of the biggest advantages of about TIG welder MIG welder is that the operator has broad control over the weld.
